A Southern Silhouette

If you’ve been a fan of my work for very long then you are undoubtedly familiar with my absolute LOVE of all things silhouette! This shot is no exception and I am entering it in the Rock the Shot Forum’s “August Photo Challenge”!  To view MORE of Lena Beth + Tom’s E-Session photos held at the BEAUTIFUL Springbrook Bed and Barn just head on over to my Facebook Album for all the goodies!

I have found that my life is too busy and complicated from running my own business to post sessions in two places (here and on Facebook) and so I am choosing to flip the script on how I do this 🙂  I LOVE blogging and my blog readers, and my Facebook Fans too! So from here on out I shall post a photo or 2 from each session on the Blog that I vote as my favorite BJP Image from that session and the link to the entire Facebook Gallery.  I love the way they display on my blog in one post but it just takes so much time, and Facebook I just upload all and go! 😦  So, I’ll be  giving my loyal readers here some eye candy to talk about and if you feel so inclined you can mosey on over to the full album over on BraskaJennea Photography’s Facebook Page!

A Southern Silhouette

I opted to make this one a “subtle” silhouette when the client suggested a barn loft “outline” shot as she called it! It couldn’t have turned out better if I’d wanted it to.  The aged rugged wood of the barn mixed with the smooth lines of their forms in that small loft opening with a hint of the blue sky in the background is just sheer MAGIC!  Add to that one of my all time favorite textures from Pixel Lounge Studios and it just screams to love it even more!!

  1. Divine… Simply divine. Your beautiful photos have inspired me to rethink some of my own images, to maybe pay a bit more attention to what I’m trying to ‘say’.
