What is there to say about this splendid young woman? I first met her at her Church when I visited and helped teach her class with my cousin a few year back.
Last year I had the awesome opportunity to shoot her Prom pictures, see those Here. And when the time came for her Senior pictures I jumped at the chance! Such a sweet, beauty…with seriously insane blue eyes…a dream to photograph.
We had to split it in to 2 sessions, the first we shot at her high-school, my Alma Mater, McMinn County High, out on the football field. The sky was AMAZING that day and the sun light was just perfect during the magic hour.
She’s very active in school with being a member of the band, clarinet AND Color Guard, the swim team, and the Gospel Choir so we worked all of those in to the session as well. I find it awesome that the clarinet she uses is the same one her mother used when she was in band!
She has a love of twirling flags, as do I, which brought back so many awesome memories as I took the opportunity to pick up a flag for the first time in years and knock out a few tosses myself. Too much fun!
The next part of our session took place out in Reliance, TN…you know…where they say Deliverance was based 😉 Thankfully I’ve never heard Banjos out there! Haha! It was another amazing day, and the scenery and magical lighting was the most magnificent background I could’ve hoped for.
We ended the session right as the sun was disappearing down over the mountains in the distance, and to say we ended on a high note would be a little off…so I’ll just let the images speak!
Thank you Caylee, Mom Derea, and boyfriend/prop holder/assistant/”hula hoop” holder/master Christian for all the fun! You all ROCK!
