Alabama Wedding | Breanna + David | Huntsville, AL Wedding Photographer

David and Breanna’s sweet Southern affair took place in Huntsville, AL.  The moment we met the first time a few months before the wedding, I knew im mediately that theirs was going to be an even to remember.  A LOT of her ideas seemed to have stepped out of my Pinterest boards and ETSY favorites.

From the Burlap wrapped bouquets and table decor, to the lemonade fountain, mason jar glasses, Alabama Corn Hole boards, and the popcorn bar it looked like it was a fairytale dressed for real life.

Breanna’s frilly ruffle dress suited her absolutely EXQUISITELY, and the Bridesmaid’s dresses were perfectly Summer!  The fellows were very dapper as well!

They came to me via mutual friends, and I absolutely adore the whole family.  When the father of Bride shows up to the rehearsal wielding a shotgun, and the groomsmen are packing heat that make it in to the pictures, you KNOW it’s about to get REAL…fun!

We were shooting the guys and I told them we were going to do some non-traditional shots….and the request was made to bring out the Groom’s new gun his loving Bride to Be gave him, and one of the g-men’s handguns.  Ummm SURE THING! (NO CLIPS WERE IN THE GUNS! Just FYI 😉 Safety first folks!)

Then the gun shot spun in to something out of a secret service movie. AND.IT.WAS.GOOD!  Only thing better could be the Bridesmaids shot where they’re one upping the movie “Bridesmaids” and then broke it down. OR possibly the whole Bridal Party images with the signs…BRILLIANT I say!

There ceremony was so sweet, from the families praying over the wedding bands, to the wonderful singers, and the unity sand & God Knot ceremony followed by the couple taking communion. Such a blessing to know they put their future in God’s hands and want to have him at the center or their “love knot”!

After the ceremony God answered my prayer for amazing light, and that’s just what we had! I mean really…it doesn’t get much better.

Everyone had a grand time shaking their groove thang at the Reception…one thing’s for sure it was a GORGEOUS night and location for a wedding.  They ended the night with a sparkler send off and as they hopped in to the Limo I climbed in to grab one final shot of the new Mr. and Mrs. Ruhlman… possibly my favorite from the day.

Here’s to the Ruhlmans! Thank you for letting me in to your lives, and for just being wonderful people!
