The circumstances in which they came to me weren’t exactly ideal, but everything happens for a reason! I knew from our first meeting that I’d love them…when the Groom is concerned about the photos you just know it’s going to be good! We had an engagement shoot re-do (you can see those here), and it was even more evident that through un-pleasant circumstances good does come…like meeting people you were supposed to meet all along!
When they started talking Wedding Day details…my favorite…and I saw the “wedding DIY room” that her mom’s dinning room had become, I was giddy to say the least! We shot Jordan’s Bridals in downtown Athens, around her Alma Mater Tennessee Wesleyan College, and I was introduced to her bouquets…
What do you do when you have a couple who loves the beach, but are land locked in the middle of Dixie Land? You bring the beach to you of course! From the hand crafted sea-shell bouquets, the sand and willow branch vases, to the sweet little sea shells that were scattered all around, even sea shell jewelry for the ladies and boutonnieres for the lads, it was DEFINITELY a beautiful, beachy, affair to remember!
The few pop-up thunderstorms thankfully didn’t last too long, and the welcome temperature decrease and breeze was a welcome break!
Thank you Mr. and Mrs. Coleman for choosing me to capture this amazing time in your lives! Here’s to a lifetime of happiness! 🙂
This was so pretty. Best wished to all.
