I can’t ride a horse to save my life, but these two are champs! Animal lovers through and through I’m convinced more couples need animals in their engagement sessions! Caitlyn & Brandon’s Equestrian Southern Engagement is proof.
From the first email I knew I’d love this couple. The more info I gathered about them and their day only sealed that thought as fact.
We wound up doing their engagement session in two- hour long bits after I’d forgotten just how HORRIBLE Nashville traffic is even an hour before “rush hour”. Turned out to be a blessing in disguise…and has given me new cause to split engagement sessions! Different hair, different make-up, even different temps and skies lead to fantastic variations!
Parts 1 and 2 were done at Caitlyn’s family farm out in Bell Buckle…anyone with a half mile driveway that crosses a stream is alright by me! It.was.GORGEOUS! She and Brandon are lovers of the giant, powerful, beauties we call horses, so when I pulled up to see two beautiful ones waiting for their close ups I was so excited.
We walked around the barns, old homes, cows, and snapped a few images with their “baby” Remi. Part 2 was much more entertaining as a herd of very nosy cows decided to photobomb them, and check out me and my camera equipment. I’ve never seen cows so brazen, but the one that walked up to them let them pet her, and it was a tense stand off between myself and “two face” (I nicknamed her), before they decided to mosey on…along side the truck as we were leaving.
Such a beautiful couple full of love for each other, and the country that surrounds them. I am sincerely looking forward to the wedding next September at Mint Springs Farm…where my horse friends will hopefully make another appearance 😉
Thank you Caitlyn and Brandon for letting me capture this glimpse into your lives. It’s going to be a beautiful “ride” for sure!
Photobombed….by a horse! LOVED IT!
And then he looked as if to say HEY! Lady I’m over here!” What’s the male version of a Diva? 😉
