Sebastian’s Senior Session was backed up to his Family’s Lifestyle session we shot earlier in the day in beautiful Reliance, TN.
To change his up a little from the family’s locations we headed over to a place I’ve driven by my entire life, and never had the opportunity to go in. I’ve always had a soft spot for old, historic buildings, and this day Sebastian’s family secured us access to another place I can check off my bucket list! The old Higdon Railroad Hotel!!!
I was ECSTATIC!!! It breaks my heart to see what disrespectful people have done over the years to this charming old girl, but she’s still gorgeous and full of character!!!! Please for the love never enter old buildings alone, or without permission, and ALWAYS leave no trace that you were ever there!
The original glass in the windows has mostly been shattered, door knobs broken off, but she still stands with stories oozing out of her cracks.
It’s my dream that one day she’ll be able to be restored to her former glory, but for now I was happy to capture Sebastian’s milestone images in this gem…just as she stands now.
He played football for my Alma Mater McMinn County High as number 99, and his sweet girlfriend Jenna joined us for a few seriously adorable images.
He’s a rather photogenic lad, and though he thought “only girls did Senior pictures” he knocked them out of the park. 😉 He has really great balance too…as we found out at the end of his session balancing himself on a wobbly 2-ish inch metal gate! It turned in to a challenge that Jenna, his mom, and step dad had to all attempt and master.
I love families who are always up for the off the beaten path shots, and this crew was just right up my alley!
Congratulations Sebastian on your upcoming Graduation! Praying for a life of success for you!
