Cristy + Dustin’s Whitestone Country Inn Wedding is coming up on Memorial Day this year. We headed to Whitestone, and then Downtown Knoxville for their engagement session. These two are so in love, and I can’t wait for their BIG day!
There are people who walk into our lives, and we have no idea why they’re there…I’m ever thankful that God hand picks my BraskaJennea Couples because I couldn’t have dreamed to ask for salt of the earth lovebirds like these two!
They both love the water so we headed down to a rather secluded spot by the lake at Whitestone after a wardrobe change. The weather was STUNNING, and we were greeted with beautiful skies, clouds, and temperatures perfectly representative of a Southern Spring.
I captured a small tiny heart on Cristy’s left shoulder down by the water, and I say it’s a “kiss” from her precious dad who went to be with the Lord just a few months ago. No other sun spots on them at all the entire time…just this one little heart for a one of the images. I think her dad approves π
They took a load off, and kicked up their feet in the grounds’ hammock, and then I interrupted their brief “nap” by whisking them off to Downtown Knoxville to finish up.
We hit right at the best light of the day, and captured Sunset in a parking garage reflecting off the Knoxville Sphere. We walked around for about an hour, and ended in front of the GORGEOUS Tennessee Theater.
I don’t think two people have crossed back and forth in the same intersection as much as these two did to capture my favorite images of the day, but it was worth it. Traffic finally had perfect timing, or maybe we adjusted to the busy flow, but when it slowed and I saw the back of my camera I knew we’d gotten what we came for π
Thank you both for choosing me to share in your big day, and becoming sweet new friends. I can’t wait to capture you as Mr. and Mrs!
XOXO, B
UPDATE: Here’s an image from their wedding taken in the same spot as some of their engagement images.
