They did it! They eloped! Michelle & Jonathan picked a beautiful late May morning to have their sweet Courthouse Ceremony at the McMinn County Annex.
Surrounded by family and close friends they said “I Do”, and then, after a quick wardrobe change ;), we headed to the Englewood Fire Department where Jonathan is a Firefighter for some super fun images with his gear, and one of the trucks. I believe my favorite images were of Michelle in his hat and jacket…and then the ring shot with the love birds in the door handle reflection were icing on the cake.
After the Fire Dept. we road tripped it a brief ways up to the Ocoee River for portraits at the Whitewater Center. I LOVE that bridge! The water was fully loosed this day, and we were treated to kayakers and rafter alike taking their turns on the upper Ocoee rapids.
The best photobomb ever occured as we were shooting at the water’s edge when rafters from Quest drifted perfectly into our frame shouting accolades of Congratulations, and hoisting their paddles in the air.
They wanted pictures to annouce their marriage with their precious fur baby sporting signs “You’re NOT invited to the wedding…” “Because Mom and Dad are already married!”, and Bear was a picture perfect pup! She was definitely excited for her parents ๐
As we were wrapping their session the skies opened up with a nice soaking, big giant rain drops, rain, and they ignored the umbrella for a nice chance to cool off. After Michelle changed out of her dress they were off, and today, July 5th, they will celebrate with their friends and family at their reception.
Congrats Mr. and Mrs. Parrott! I pray you a lifetime of love, and laughter! Thank you for allowing me to capture the beginning of your journey ๐
That reflection of them though…it had me at HELLO!
Thank you Quest rafters for the EPIC photobomb! *High Five*
Love the pictures, Braska!!
