What do you get when you mix a McMinn County Sherrif’s Office Correctional Officer momma with a gramma who loves everything Mickey Mouse and Disney…one CUUUUTELY dressed newborn baby boy!
Emily gave birth to little Mr. George two weeks early after a regularly scheduled appointment revealed he was ready to enter this world. I met them at the hospital when George was merely two hours old to capture his first portraits. Nothing is more special to me than being there to capture a miracle’s first moments on earth. Simply blows me away every.single.time.
After a couple of hours shooting in between those few changes, feeding attempts, visitors I had some of the sweetest newborn images of my portfolio…but we weren’t done yet!
When George was about a week old they had me over to photograph him in some insanely ADORABLE crochetted newborn hats and diaper covers. A tiny Mickey Mouse and a tiny Police Officer were just too much cuteness to handle. THEN they showed me the “handcuffs” that went with the policeman’s outfit…I DIED! O.VER.LOAD!!!
We captured him giving a little grin in a beautiful white blanket embroidered with his little name in blue, and then in a Polo by Ralph Lauren onesie and a “What Does the Fox Say?” insipred Foxy Footed outfit. This id has STYLE…and he’s just a baby 😉
We wrapped up in his Mickey themed nursery in his first ever Disney garment. I sense many trips to Disney World in this little guy’s future 😉 Of course the little fella broke out his “campaign” wear for the county’s local sherrif, Joe Guy. I don’t think a politician has ever had a cuter campaigner!
Grandpa’s band says it all…”Heaven IS for Real!”
Yes…yes this tiny policeman IS wearing his own handcuffs…how funny/CUTE is this? *Please note: Newborn pose safety was used in this composited image. NEVER leave a newborn’s head unsupported!*
Now this is the ONLY live mouse I’d keep in my house! ❤ ❤ ❤
