I legit have to tell you God hand picks my couples just for me! Madison & Cutler’s adventurous spirit (and insistence on doing whatever for that Golden BUTTERY light in portraits) had me at “Hello”!
I love referred Brides so much because they’ve already heard, usually 😉, about me and my style. Madison’s words in my “Tell B About YOU!” pre-booking Questionnaire let me know immediately that not only was my style perfect for their day, but that they were a perfect match for ME! ❤️
“You seem like a very down to Earth person, and I feel like you would give me that vision I see for my wedding!”
She called me “Down to Earth” ya’ll (which is what I preach to everybody Bride and Groom, to keep it down to Earth!)! And THEN said what my end goal is for every wedding I capture for my Brides to their Grooms…to make their dreams a reality by capturing in real life the visions they see Dancing beautifully in their heads! ❤️😭❤️😭❤️😭
When she told about their personalities and how they met I fell even harder, and became even more excited for their Wedding!
We opted for a Spring Outdoor Engagement Session, and chose to stay close in the hills of our stunning East Tennessee to capture their portraits! PERFECT DECISION!
God gave us the most spectacular weather, and the lighting was simply magical!
It’s always fun to start shooting at brighter times of day to fall into Golden Hour because I love, literally, a good challenge, and the “Glow” that can come from knowing and finding good light (and manipulating your subjects into it 😉) The results that come from that almost too bright to shoot light is simply breathtaking when you master working with it❤️
Cutler CLEARLY is smitten with her as whatever she wanted he smiled and went right along with it! Plus, there’s something in his eyes when she’s close…this different smile that beams through his eyes! It’s part of what Photographer’s dreams are made of😍
We ended with images down by the river, and, even despite the rather chilly dip in temps the weather took just a day before the session, their warmth between each other seemed to mask any chilly vibes!
Madison + Cutler I am ever so thankful God crossed our paths, and I cannot wait to capture you becoming Husband and Wife this Fall!
