Ya’ll meet the absolutely adorable Brooke + Brandon! I may be a bit biased as Brandon is my Cousin (I think we said like 3rd? LOL!), BUT he’s seriously one of the most spectacular people you’ll ever meet…..annnnd, as God only could’ve designed it, he’s met his perfect partner in Brooke!
They met when Brandon worked at an Auto Parts store, and Brooke happened to come in one day. Sadly he didn’t get to talk to her at all that day, and, as Brooke said “he felt pretty bummed, as he thought he’d missed his opportunity!”
MMMMMM buuuut God, the ole schemer He is ;-P, would have it to where she had to go back THE NEXT DAY…
“She’s MINE!” Brandon exclaimed to his co-worker, as HE was going to be the one helping her that day!!! (He’s a determined go-getter, a Preacher, who never meets a stranger, and she’s a rather quiet and more mellow soul; soooo YEAH…she had no chance of getting out of there without his phone number 😉 HA! )
The following Friday, over Football, conversation, and Taco Bell, these two would have the First Date to end all their First Dates… their LAST First Date!
We decided for the Engagement Session to head to Downtown Chattanooga, and with a threat of rain showers we opted for a ride on the Coolidge Park Carousel as the rain tapered off….and on….and off again….an on again.
We started out with them sitting in a Sleigh, annnnnd *ALMOST* got thrown off the Carousel when we, unbeknownst to us, got in trouble for trying (and successfully slowly sneaking) to move to a horse that Brandon could ride HAHAHA! Always an adventure in our family…allllways an adventure Brooke so WELCOME to the show ;-P hahaha!
The rain was no match for their high-spirits and smiles abounded as we wandered under the Walnut Street Bridge for some of my favorite images with alllll the amazing lines!!!
Brandon of course HAD to climb up something, as Brooke chimed, as any doting Fiancé would, “Don’t you dare fall!!” Lol!
Capturing love stories of Brides to Be to their Groom to Be I get a front row seat to some of the most beautiful love stories God could write, and these two are the epitome of that! They rarely aren’t smiling or laughing with each other, and that “smitten smile” they each get looking at the other is pure photographic gold!
After a quick wardrobe change they shared a Wedding Cake Shaved Ice from, of course, one of Brandon’s friends (the man knows EVERYONE ya’ll!) as we waited out the rain before heading to the Riverfront, and it did.not.disappoint even under overcast skies.
We took one more rain delay break before the “Singing In The Rain” Umbrella images I had envisioned, and wouldn’t you know it the animal lovers found a new Furry Friend in “Wizard”, the very sweet, attention loving, pup! I think he could sense these two are big dog lovers 😉
Ending the day with a light sprinkle under the umbrella, and Brandon once again climbing something ;), was beautiful fun that even more pumped us all up for their Wedding this September!
Brooke and Brandon I’m so thankful for that Auto Parts store meet cute, and cannot wait to see all God is going to do. As amazing as you are individually it’s truly going to be spectacular when you two become one!
Thank you for letting me capture and tell your love story!
XOXO, B
